Position Overview:
Freddie Mac is seeking a talented and motivated Senior developer to join our product team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing and implementing salesforce enhancements as well as building scalable and resilient microservices that integrate seamlessly with our salesforce ecosystem. You will leverage your deep understanding of salesforce development and microservices architecture to build innovative solutions that drive efficiency and enhance our business capability.

As a senior developer of the development team, the Individual would independently lead the solution delivery of issues as well complex enhancements. The individual would champion technology and tools changes/improvements that improve delivery processes. Be a role model and a technical mentor to junior and mid-level developers. Work collaboratively with other open minded, technology savvy and dedicated team members.

Your Impact:
You will be a mentor to the team, driving full (and accurate) adoption of modern software engineering and delivery practices using Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
Develop salesforce enhancements
Integrate microservices with the salesforce platform using APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), platform events and other integration mechanisms
Write well-structured testable and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards
Collaborate closely with salesforce developers, architects and others to understand requirements and deliver high quality solutions
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for salesforce and microservice deployments
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field or equivalent experience; work towards advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5 - 7 years related experience
5+ Years of experience in software development focusing on Salesforce, Backend development and API integration
Solid understanding of Salesforce development concepts, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning components (Aura/LWC) and salesforce APIs
Prove experience designing, developing and deploying microservices using technologies such as Java, Spring boot etc.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with API design principles and best practices
Experience with message queues and event streaming platforms
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab.)
Salesforce Developer certification is required
Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft (Nice to have)

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
