Breakfast Server

Position Summary:

The team at Gourmet Pie & Cafe is seeking a reliable and motivated Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team. You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking our breakfast menu items to the highest standards, ensuring each guest receives a fresh and delicious meal every time. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook breakfast menu items (eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, breakfast meats, etc.) according to recipes and specifications.

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before and during service.

• Ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and presented attractively.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

• Work efficiently to handle high-volume breakfast service.

• Communicate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.

• Assist with prep work, inventory, and receiving deliveries as needed.

• Other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.

Qualifications:

• Previous breakfast or line cook experience preferred, but not required.

• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and food safety standards.

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Schedule:

Part-time or full-time available; must have early morning availability (typically shifts start between 5:00–7:00 AM).
