Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and directing all clinical aspects in the Faculty Practice (PA) of the Department of Psychiatry to maximize patient experience, employee experience and revenue performance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- LCSW-C or PhD with clinical licensure to practice
- Board issued Clinical Supervisor credentials
- Ten or more years of clinical care (Psychotherapy and complex case management) experience
- 5-10 years of management experience in a clinical or practice setting
- State of Maryland Professional License to practice is required
- Broad psychotherapy experience treating a wide range mental health issues including Psychodynamic framework, CBT, DBT, Supportive therapy, Diagnostic Evaluations, Couples and Family systems and psychotherapy
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Reviews complex specialty referrals and makes case assignments and assessment of best fit.
Oversees office performance as it supports the caseloads and providers volume.
Conducts initial review and investigation of all patient complaints and develops a plan of response.
Oversees data review and billing, evaluates and identifies opportunities to increase revenue and optimize delivery of clinical services.
Directs and supervises all practice managers and social workers in the practice.
Completes mandatory employee health, workers compensation, HR processes and other training and requirements in required time frame to ensure compliance with all FPI rules and regulations.
Total Rewards
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland's Faculty Physician's Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
