The Impact You'll Make
As our next Materials & Production Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our production lines flow smoothly and customer commitments are met with precision. Your work will directly influence on-time delivery, inventory efficiency, and production reliability, making you a central link between supply, manufacturing, and our customers
By coordinating materials and production planning, you'll help minimize delays, avoid stockouts, and improve data accuracy in our systems-creating a more responsive and agile operation. You'll collaborate closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and customer service teams, helping us deliver smarter, more reliable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Place purchase orders with suppliers and follow-up when necessary to avoid stockout
- Ensure accuracy of purchase order due dates; promise customer orders based on the availability of material and capacity
- Release production orders to manufacturing based on material availability
- Work with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of products
- Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to lower inventory, reduce stockouts and to improve on-time delivery
- Maintain master data information in SAP
- Create and/or publish planning reports.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- 6 years experience in materials planning and production planning in an electronics or automotive manufacturing facility.
