About the Gig:

What does an Alliances Manager Do?

The Alliances Manager drives purposeful growth within the Salesforce ecosystem at Sercante. They are a bridge between Sercante and Salesforce, uncovering new partnership opportunities and constantly credentializing Sercante as a leading Salesforce partner to Salesforce partner sales and sales leadership.

The Alliances Manager reports to the VP of Growth and Alliances.

A Day-in-the-Life:

  • Cultivate, maintain and grow alliance relationship and navigator partner status in both North America and Europe.  This includes building relationships and maintaining ongoing cadences with senior Salesforce partner sales stakeholders.
  • Partner with Salesforce Partner Account Manager and Partner Sales Managers to identify growth opportunities and target accounts ripe for expansion
  • Align with Growth team on annual and quarterly GTM strategy to communicate relevant offerings back to the Salesforce channel
  • Create a pipeline of leads from Salesforce to our Sercante sales channel, supporting pipeline growth initiatives
  • Align with Delivery and Client Partnerships teams to support Quarterly Business Reviews, helping to uncover new lead ACV opportunities for Salesforce, logging new leads in the Partner Portal
  • Ongoing monitoring of Partner Portal, ensuring Sercante is tagged to relevant opportunities and Sercante Sales team is abreast of all potential opportunities within their territory
  • Socialize Sercante offerings and accelerators to key Salesforce audiences, supporting ongoing Sercante brand awareness expansion initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with Sercante Marketing, Growth and Sales teams to support Sercante at various Salesforce events
  • Create and present annual and quarterly plan back to Growth, Sales, Delivery & Marketing leadership within Sercante

A Successful Alliances Manager will:

  • Keep an ongoing pulse on Sercante Navigator status and ACV pipeline
  • Know our customer successes and communicate back to Salesforce partner leadership
  • Bring equal parts vision + execution to the growth of Alliances globally
  • Be data-driven and manage our Salesforce partnership numbers
  • Build strong relationships with Salesforce partner sales, creating opportunities to showcase what makes Sercante amazing at Salesforce events & sponsorships
  • Be a bullhorn back to the Salesforce channel, shouting Sercante success stories and offerings that will create pipeline
  • Maintain annual and quarterly lead and pipeline generation targets
  • Live and breathe Sercante’s core values
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Travel Expectations:Up to 25% (primarily conferences/events and visiting large customers)
