What You’ll Do:
As a Dental Assistant at Center for Family Health, you’ll play an important role in supporting our dental team and helping patients have a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including reviewing forms, health histories, and assisting with x-rays.
- Take, develop, and organize dental x-rays.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures by setting up instruments, mixing materials, and providing support as needed.
- Help with lab tasks such as pouring models and tracking lab cases.
- Apply fluoride and perform other preventive dental care under supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure follow-up care is scheduled.
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare treatment rooms and dental equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and office policies.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to learn and grow in a dental setting. You should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous dental assistant experience or experience through a dental/healthcare program.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, or willingness to obtain it.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
