Job Title: Dental Care Coordinator

Location: St. Louis, MO

Department: PFH; Dental Services

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: Monday - Friday

Job Summary:

Are you a detail-oriented and compassionate professional looking to support dental health services in a dynamic, patient-focused environment? Join us as a Dental Care Coordinator, where you will be a key member of our dental care team-ensuring smooth operations of the dental clinic through exceptional coordination and support.

In this role, you'll collaborate with patients, families, dental staff, and providers to manage patient flow, prepare rooms and instruments, and maintain an organized and full dental schedule. Your contributions will ensure our patients receive quality, timely, and compassionate dental care across multiple clinic sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate dental care and communication between families, providers, and staff

  • Prepare dental treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before each appointment

  • Sterilize dental equipment and maintain infection control standards

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

  • Manage dental schedules across multiple clinic sites, ensuring optimal patient flow

  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and route messages appropriately

  • Assist with front office duties as needed to support overall clinic operations

  • Greet and attend to patients with care, compassion, and professionalism

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members

  • Support dental providers in daily operations and workflow

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Current CPR certification required

  • Prior experience in a dental office preferred but not required

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn dental software systems

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and data entry skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn
