Job Description

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is excited to announce an opening for a Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated healthcare team in facility, clinics and/or hospital in LA.

In this role, you will provide essential preventative dental care to our patients, focusing on maintaining and improving oral health. Your responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, examining patients for oral diseases, taking dental x-rays, and providing education on proper oral hygiene practices.

As a Dental Hygienist at GLI, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care in a comfortable and respectful environment. Your expertise and compassionate approach will contribute significantly to our patients' well-being and to the overall success of the dental practice.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments of patients' oral health.
  • Educate patients on the importance of good oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.
  • Assist in the identification of periodontal disease and other oral health issues.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist the dental team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Associate's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • MUST BE U.S. Citizen.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
