LEADING DENTAL FACILITY - ST. LOUIS, MO

DUTIES
- Perform dental cleaning, polishing, scaling, restorations.
- Take digital X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Provide instructions and evaluation as needed per patients on oral hygiene practices and post treatment care.
- Ability to apply fluoride and prescribed topical medications, sprays or rinses.
- Assist the dentist during procedures effectively.
- Remove plaque from patient gumline
- Maintain proper condition of clinical area and dental equipment.
- Perform initial examination of teeth and tissue and periodontal pockets.
- Maintain records of and patient data as needed
- Monitor procedures, review patient history, record vital analysis
- Maintain all continuing education requirements as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned and within scope of practice and role.
- Other duties as required within scope of license and patient care
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) or Licensed Dental Hygienist (LDH) in the state of Missouri required.
- 1-2 years minimum of hands on work experience as Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
- Familiar with EMR (electronic medical records)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages
COMPENSATION
- $40/hr - $55/hr
- Competitive Total Compensation based on experience and skills
