Description
The Dental Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental department within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role ensures efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered dental services by coordinating administrative, operational, and clinical support functions. The Dental Operations Coordinator serves as a liaison between dental providers, support staff, and other departments, and plays a key role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing workflows, and supporting the mission of the organization. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Requirements
- A degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Dental Hygiene, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare or dental setting required.
- Experience working in an FQHC or community health center preferred.
- 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and operations is required.
