Dental Receptionist

Duties:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's scheduling system- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary- Assist with billing and payment collection- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed- Manage office supplies and inventory- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality- Provide administrative support to the dental office staff as needed

Skills:

- Proficiency in dental office systems and software, such as Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Familiarity with phone systems and handling patient inquiries over the phone- Experience with medical records management and maintaining accurate documentation- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
