We're expanding our team to better serve the Sonoma/Petaluma/Novato market and are looking for the next key player to help us keep our clients' expectations high as we expand our services.Our unique model allows our clients to have just one primary point of contact (you!) throughout their decision-making and installation process. We bring our mobile showroom to the job site and do as much of the heavy lifting for our clients as possible. Home improvement can be a headache... and we strive to help our clients love the process as much as we do. In order to succeed at this job, you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done to achieve this vision.This job will require a lot of driving between appointment sites, and this candidate must be a highly-organized individual who can keep a lot of balls in the air.Floor Coverings International was founded in 1988 and has over 200 locations across North America, serving over 400,000 customers. Design AssociateKey Responsibilities:
  • Be primary point of contact for our clients and manage all jobs from beginning to end
    • Meet with clients in their home/jobsite and showcase the proper flooring samples to meet their needs
    • Follow our process (including use of tablet and computer software)
    • Project management - including engaging with our installers for a seamless installation
  • Build network for long-term relationship building and lead generation
Design AssociateKey Qualifications:
  • Customer Service: Experience speaking to clients about key features and benefits. We take our reputation very seriously and are looking for the right candidate who aligns with our vision here
  • Education: Experience working in the flooring industry is a must, preferably with in-home experience - knowledge of flooring types and production process
  • Tech saavy: Will be using tablet and computer (Salesforce, Asana, and others) on ongoing basis
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
