We're a creative team that thrives on collaboration and design thinking. To keep our work flowing and our ideas fresh, we’re looking for a Design Operations Specialist. Your job will be to help us stay focused, organized, and equipped to do great design work—by managing projects, improving workflows, and creating clear documentation.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including those with experience in full-time roles, freelance, or contract work. What matters most is that you’re ready to be a full-time member of our product design team. Join us at KUBRA, where your design talents will shine, and every project is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact!
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our office in Tempe, AZ.

- Facilitate team meetings (like daily check-ins, planning, and reviews) to keep work moving and aligned.
- Create and maintain templates and tools to improve how we plan and deliver design work.
- Document processes and decisions clearly so everyone—across design, engineering, and product—can understand and use them.
- Remove roadblocks that prevent the design team from focusing on their creative work.
- Support team organization, both for day-to-day operations and long-term planning.
Strengths That Shine in This Role
- You enjoy creating order and clarity, and helping others do their best work.
- You know when to follow a process—and when to improve or simplify it.
- You’re curious and proactive about making things better.
- You want to work closely with a team that values both creativity and structure.
- This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities.
Skills That Matter in This Role
- Experience working in Agile teams, especially using tools like Jira to manage work.
- Strong organization and documentation skills—you enjoy making information easy to find and understand.
- Great communicator and collaborator—comfortable working across design, product, and engineering.
- Appreciation for design—you may not be a designer yourself, but you understand creative workflows.
- Experience using Figma, Miro, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
