POSITIONOVERVIEW:
JoinBacktoNatureHomeandGardenasaLandscapeDesignCoordinator,supporting allaspectsofourdesignstudio.Thisrolebridgesdesign,organization,andproject coordination—helpingtransformideasintoinspiredoutdoorspaces.You’llassistinthe development,documentation,andexecutionofresidentiallandscapedesignswhile ensuringsmoothcommunicationandworkflowacrossteamsandclients.
Theidealcandidateisdetail-oriented,design-minded,andthrivesinafast-paced,creative environment.Youareaproactiveproblem-solverwhohelpskeepprojectsontrackand bringsstructuretothecreativeprocess.JOBDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:•Createdetailedplans,drawings,andpresentationsbyhandorusingCADandother designsoftware.•Selectappropriateplants,trees,andmaterialsbasedonclimate,soilconditions, andaestheticpreferences.•Makedesignadjustmentsasneededtoaccommodateclientfeedbackorsite-specificconsiderations.•Actasthefirst-levelordinanceinterpreter,reviewinglocalregulationsandzoning requirementstoensuredesignsarepreparedforsuccessfulpermitapproval,and workcloselywiththePermitCoordinatortostreamlinetheapprovalprocess.•Supportcommunicationbetweenclients,designers,projectmanagers, construction,andmaintenanceteamstomaintaindesignintegritythrough implementation.•Coordinatewithlandscapearchitects,contractors,andvendorstosource materialsandresolvedesignorsitechallenges.•Trackprojecttimelines,deliverables,andapprovalstohelpensuredeadlinesare met.•Attendsitevisitsandassistindocumentingprojectprogressandas-builtconditions onanas-neededbasis.•Organizedesignfiles,drawings,andmaterialsforefficientworkflowandteam access.•Maintainthedesignlibrary,plantdatabase,andsampleinventory.•Assistinschedulingclientmeetings,designreviews,andstudioactivities.•Supporttheproductionofpresentationboards,conceptpackages,andprinted deliverables.•Writeproposals.
•Maintainthedesignstudio’sinventory,ensuringallsupplies,materials,and resourcesareavailableandorganizedtosupportsmoothworkflowandproject execution.•Perform additional administrative tasks and support functions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:•KnowledgeofCADsoftware•Familiaritywithplantsordesiretolearn•Familiaritywithlocal zoning codes, setback requirements, grading and drainage regulations, tree ordinances, and related construction permitting standards•AdegreeinLandscapeDesign,Horticultureorarelatedfieldispreferred•Proficientin Microsoft Office SuiteandTeams•Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; occasional travel to sites and vendors as required.
