Primary Duties:
Responsibilities may vary daily with a goal of being known to the student a week in advance.
Faculty Support as needed
For example, helping to setup labs, fabricating demos, and assist faculty in a lab based class
Improvement projects for the School of Engineering as directed
For example, collaborating with faculty to improve lab layouts, lab procedures, or utilization
Specific tasks as requested
Abide by all Dunwoody College of Technology policies
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at Dunwoody College of Technology within the School of Engineering and registered for at least 12 credit hours
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPA minimum
- Must be in good standing within the School of Engineering
- Must work an agreed upon schedule after or around classes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to initiate communications with faculty and follow up as required
- Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision
- Maintains a professional demeanor with Students, Faculty, and Staff
