Job Description
Hillman Flooring & Design has been providing professional, high-quality design, remodeling, and installation services to the greater Atlanta area since 1990. We’re a family-owned company and have the second generation moving forward with the same passion that has been the cornerstone of Hillman since the beginning. We are a small company focused on big results!
We are looking for a high-energy, team player to join our team as a Design Flooring Sales Consultant for our Design Center in Sugar Hill, GA.
Key responsibilities:
- Greet walk-in customers, assess their needs, and answer any questions.
- Educate the customer on products and appropriate application, as well as installation
- Assist customer on selection of samples and make appointment for measurements as needed
- Conduct site visits to check on job progress while ensuring customer satisfaction for the duration of the project
- Daily and/or weekly follow up with prospects and new customers
- Update and maintain showroom displays and products with current pricing and accurate labeling of materials
- Design the project and produce plans/drawings to communicate the design idea from conception to completion of installation
- Obtain customer site information to provide the prospect with an accurate quote using RFMS software
- Maintain contact with customers in a timely and professional manner on quotes, material acquisition and installation scheduling as well as completion of installation and customer satisfaction
- Act as a liaison between the customer and all company departments to insure customer receives outstanding service and installation services.
- Ensure customer satisfaction at completion of job and collect any balances due
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Retail and showroom sales experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional setting and provide knowledge about products and/or installation methods to ensure customers understand HFD processes and procedures
- Experience with RFMS a plus!
