Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

The instructor will focus on specialized instruction and student mentorship:

• Deliver engaging classroom and lab instruction in vascular sonography, covering scanning techniques, patient care, and equipment operation.

• Collaborate on curriculum updates to align with evolving industry trends and accreditation requirements.

• Assess student performance through practical and theoretical evaluations, offering constructive feedback to promote growth.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.

• Stay informed on advancements in vascular sonography and integrate new technologies into teaching.

• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development initiatives, and program advisory boards.

• Mentor students, foster their academic success, and cultivate a positive learning environment.

What You Bring (Minimum Qualifications)

Education & Credentials (Required)

• Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.

• Credential: Current credential in Vascular Technology (RVT or VS) through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.

Experience & Skills

• Clinical Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in vascular sonography.

• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and clinical partners.

• Preferred: Teaching or precepting experience (not required but valued).
