Job Description
Work in a small, but expanding fast-moving team environment with a short turnaround time for getting trucks and trailers ready for the next morning's routes. Duties performed by the team include basic servicing to maintain the equipment as well as repair work. Internal, on-the-job training is done to help improve the team, and additional outside training may be available as training opportunities come available with our partners, or as needs dictate.
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine preventative maintenance and repair for trucks, trailers, refrigeration units & dollies; including but not limited to brake jobs, trailer repairs, clutch adjustments and repairs and cooling system repairs.
- Welding, cutting and basic fabrication.
- Electronic troubleshooting utilizing manufacturer computer applications.
- Work both inside the shop and outdoors.
- Document troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Communicate and coordinate tasks with Shop Manager.
