Job Description:J.J. Kennedy, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Fombell, PA. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment including ready-mix concrete trucks, high lifts, cement tankers, and other heavy machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on fleet vehicles and equipment

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and accurately

• Maintain detailed service and repair records

• Adhere to company and safety standards at all times

• Communicate with supervisors and drivers to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician preferred

• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)

Schedule & Pay:

• Daylight hours, Monday–Friday

• Overtime available
