Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for engaging with category management and support teams to define and launch strategies across digital platforms. In collaboration with the digital marketing and category management teams, this role will create an optimal shopping experience to drive sales. They will partner with cross functional teams in business and technology to drive efficiencies and continuously improve the customer experience. The right candidate will demonstrate a winning attitude, be flexible, results oriented, analytical and self-starting.
The work for the Digital Merchandising Specialist position is completely remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create an optimal shopping experience by collaborating with category management and marketing to create category specific engagements, landing pages, story-telling, solution-oriented experiences, proper reviews and personalization.
- Develop and manage a vendor funded digital engagement and activation strategy.
- Support product detail page perfection with optimal content to improve conversion.
- Manage ecommerce search capabilities and continuously improve search experience.
- Support cross merchandising of product groups to drive profitable mix.
- Plan and coordinate channel activation of merchandising capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of the strategy for ecommerce features/functionality and activation plans to achieve sales and site-level goals.
- Execute online customer experiences across all devices, from desktop to mobile, including apps.
- Work closely with campaign and cross-functional partners (including creative, UX/UI, Copy & Content, Marketing, category management and IT teams) to align on seasonal strategies and plans.
- Measure effectivity of merchandising capabilities to inform development, execution, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in business marketing or similar field required.
Related Experience: 5 years in ecommerce, digital marketing or merchandising required. Must be familiar with Google analytics and/or Adobe analytics and Microsoft Applications. Project management experience associated with cross functional merchandising and/ or digital projects desired. Understanding of ecommerce user experience desired.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: The ideal candidate will possess a passion for digital merchandising, a positive attitude, outgoing personality, be highly collaborative, adaptable and show a willingness to take initiative. Demonstrating the ability to manage information from disparate sources, provide proactive, timely solutions and serve as the internal subject matter expert is desired.
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
$65,000 - $100,000
