Job Description

• Minimum Education Requirement• Must be a High School Graduate and have an associate’s degree from an AMA accredited school for • Respiratory Care and registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care.• Minimum Experience Requirement• Five years’ experience in acute care or CAH which includes CCU/ICU, Peds and Neonates and a • minimum of two years with scheduling and ordering supplies for unit. Proficient in the use of a personal • computer including spreadsheet analysis, presentation graphics and word processing. Highly developed • oral, written and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups at all • levels of the organization, patients, families and external individuals, groups and agencies. Ability to • manage multiple priorities and make appropriate decisions to assure completion of tasks on time. • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned. Appropriate • professional demeanor to represent AAMC to internal and external constituents. Ability to work under • stress. Ability to solve problems of a complex nature. Ability to multitask. Experience with Neurology and • Sleep Lab preferred.• Minimum License Requirement• Registered Therapist holding a current South Carolina license and registered with the NBRC. Must • complete NIMS Training, IS100-HC, IS200 and IS700a within the first 90 days of hire or transfer to this • position or provide completion certificate. http://training.fema.gov/IS/NIMS.asp
