This position reports to HR Education and Organizational Development and requires a BSN (Bachelor's Degree in Nursing). Master's Degree Preferred. Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) preferred.Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Education to lead and support clinical education programs and teams across the organization. Provides oversight of clinical education teams, regulatory compliance, and new initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and workforce development strategies. Designs and implements education programs that support onboarding, transition to practice, and ongoing professional development for clinical staff. Oversees the creation of learning experiences using diverse modalities—including, but not limited to, eLearning, just-in-time, at-the-elbow, virtual sessions, and live classroom instruction—to ensure accessibility and effectiveness across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Direct new clinical initiatives and projects to support organizational strategy and scorecard goals.
Evaluate and improve education programs using data-driven frameworks.
Develop success metrics and coach team members to achieve goals.
Collaborate with HR, business and operational leaders on needs assessments, onboarding and professional development programs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies not limited to CMS, OSHA, Virginia Department of Health, and The Joint Commission.
Work with instructional designers to create effective training content.
Assist with budget planning and resource allocation.
The following measurable outcomes will be used to evaluate performance:
Program Effectiveness:Percentage of education programs meeting defined quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance:Zero deficiencies in audits related to regulatory agencies.
Budget Adherence:Maintain expenses within approved budget limits.
Project Delivery:Completion of initiatives on time, within scope, and clearly demonstrated outcomes.
Employee Engagement:Improvement in engagement scores linked to education initiatives.
Metric Reporting:Timely and accurate reporting of success metrics to leadership.
Vendor Performance:Evaluation and approval of external vendors meeting quality and cost standards.
What We Require:
Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business or related field required.Experience: 7 years of experience in Human Resources or related function with a minimum of 3 years management experience required.Licensure, certification, and/or registration: None.Other Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of related laws & regulations. Experience with complex project management, communication strategies and programs; and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams with facilitation outside scope of direct reports required. Demonstrated strategic skills in business planning with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational focus and financial acumen. Proficient computer system knowledge. Proven ability to meet business outcomes.
