Job Description

Note to applicants: This role is a remote, field-based position that requires to be located in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Who You Are: As a Director on the Beverage team, you will be accountable for Wal-Mart across our beverage line-up. This role will report directly to the Vice President of National Accounts-Large Format.

This role is eligible to participate in our Senior Managment Bonus Plan.

What You're Good At:

  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with Wal-Mart merchant team members.
  • Drive volume, revenue and share across the Nutrabolt Beverage portfolio at WM.
  • Plan out monthly, quarterly, and yearly price, package and promotion planning with WM. Adjust as necessary to maximize ROI.
  • Utilize sales data to identify opportunities to meet and exceed annual goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with Keurig Dr Pepper National Account team members, internal finance, commercial strategy, RGM, and distribution teams to plan, track and measure overall business.
  • Align with Supply Chain to ensure correct planning and forecasting for all assigned accounts.
  • Manage total trade budgets by brand/account.
  • Work directly with Shopper Marketing to develop conversion tactics and specific programming.
  • Work with DSD team to ensure all monthly promotional activity is being leveraged and executed (90% + level).

In this role your goals & KPIs will focus on:

  • Performance to Volume, Revenue, Margin and Share targets
  • Depletions and Scan sales within assigned National Accounts.
  • Retail Sales objectives
  • Price/Package and Promotion planning
  • Total points of distribution (TPD's) objectives
  • ACV distribution, Display goals, and package mix

What You Contribute:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-10 years of CPG experience, beverage preferred, calling on headquarter buyers for National Accounts with an emphasis on Walmart, Target, and the Club channel.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong background in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Ability to travel 35%-40%.
  • Knowledge of DSD systems within the Beverage industry.
  • High IRI and Syndicated data usage knowledge.
  • Experience in building a strategic Joint business plan (JBP) with National Retailers.
  • Thrive in a team selling environment.
  • Knowledge of MULO measured channels a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within Organizations MVR policy guidelines.
  • Broker management experience
