The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for all front and back of the house F&B operations including, the dining room, kitchen, and banquet functions. JOB DUTIES:- Preferred candidates will have two years of Director of F&B level experience or 5 years of management level experience within the F&B division in hotel, restaurant, or hospitality related field.
- Knowledge of Arizona-specific liquor license requirements at a Management level.
- Significant front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house experience at all levels.
- Experience in a fast-paced resort environment.
- Experience with Beverage Management, Inventory controls, food service, food safety & sanitation are a must.
- Experience within a procurement system such as Avendra or Entegra is a plus.
- College degree is preferred, but not required. Ability to lead a project, lead a team, public speak, had have effective written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with goal setting, staff training, and employee relations required.
- Must be a self-starter and motivated to work in a challenging environment with many different variables.
*Nights and weekend availability is essential.
