As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, Comprehensive Logistics Co. Inc. (CLI) is looking for an experienced DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT.

POSITION RESPONSIBIITIES:

Create new business pipeline of outsourced warehousing opportunities. Production logistics and distribution center management.

Develop and implement sales strategy based on sales VERTICAL and INDUSTRY experience to include and/or AUTOMOTIVE, INDUSTRIAL, AFTER MARKET SERVICE PARTS, AEROSPACE/AVIATION, OIL and GAS, TECHNOLOGY, GOVERNMENT - DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.

Reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

Subject matter expert of the customer's business needs and objectives. Collaborate with CLI's engineering team to provide outsourced solutions which address the customer objective, resulting in closed, contract business deals.

HUNTER MENTALITY with responsibility to extend or renew existing contracts before or upon contract expiration, as well as identify opportunities for customer growth in new geographic locations, new industries, or with additional products and services.

Develop and implement sales selling cycle and methodology based on market research and competitor analysis.

Support pricing and business models.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must have experience selling to indirect purchasing groups.

Must understand engineering methodology and related costing.

Experience with sales pipeline management and a sales quota.

Ten (10) + years of experience in Third-Party Logistics Sales required.

Experience in comprehensive supply chain solutions including warehouse management systems, labor solutions and overall design, and continuous improvement methodology.

Travel as needed.

Knowledge in Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and understanding of Sales CRM input and customer sales cycle tracking.
