Director of Pediatric Services
Location: San Francisco, CASchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PMSalary Range: $300,000–$310,000 per year
Position Overview:We are hiring a Director of Pediatric Services to design, grow, and oversee pediatric programs within a mission-driven clinic setting in San Francisco, CA. This position is ideal for a physician who enjoys building services from a systems perspective combining day-to-day clinical oversight with long-term planning focused on equity and access.
Responsibilities:
- Lead pediatric program development, including new services and care models tailored to community needs
- Supervise and mentor pediatric clinicians, supporting ongoing professional development
- Monitor outcomes using clinical and operational data, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure that care is culturally responsive and honors the lived experiences of Black families and other underserved populations
- Prepare the department for audits, surveys, and external reviews while maintaining high standards of care
Requirements
- Active California medical license with no disciplinary history
- Board certification in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics
- Current DEA and BLS
- At least 7 years of ambulatory pediatric experience, including formal leadership responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in community-based care and strong commitment to health equity
