Job Description

The Director of Sales provides strategic leadership across multiple accounts, regions, or channels to ensure sales and profitability targets are achieved. This role is responsible for aligning customer strategies with corporate objectives and serves as a senior point of contact for key accounts. 

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.  
  • Lead negotiations and manage executive-level customer relationships.  
  • Oversee sales forecasting, planning, and trade spend management across accounts/regions.  
  • Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action as needed.  
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to align customer programs.  
  • Serve as voice of customer internally, providing insights to inform product and promotional strategies.  
  • Guide and support Associate Directors in execution of customer strategies.  
  • Represent sales function in internal leadership forums.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, trade/channel marketing, or account management, with 4+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar accounts and driving profitable growth.
  • Strong negotiation and financial acumen with demonstrated success in the CPG space.

Pay and Benefits:

US$170,000.00 - US$190,000.00 Annually

Final compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the company's benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, accrued vacation, floating holidays, and designated company holidays.
