About the role

Semgrep is one of the fastest growing companies in the code security space and on the path to become an established industry leader. As a sales leader, you will build and lead a high-performing team, become a trusted partner to the Semgrep executive team, and delight your colleagues and customers.

As a Sales Director on the Mid-Market (Digital Natives) team, you will have the opportunity to drive momentum selling to Digital Native organizations, while reinforcing strong pipeline and forecast management practices. You will extensively interact with other teams within Business Development, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to drive new business and expand Semgrep usage across our current customers.

You will hire, and coach top talent to build an outstanding sales team and swiftly deal with performance issues when necessary to keep our talent bar high.You will have the agency and resources to not only identify problems, but also solve them with a bias towards action. Reporting to the Head of Mid-Market Sales, this position will give you the opportunity to make an impact at the highest level and the ability to lead a motivated team in a fast growing segment.

Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • 3-5 years in tech sales management in a highly reputable company
  • Ability to hire, retain, and coach top talent AE's
  • A track record of repeated success for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Based in San Francisco (Bay Area)
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Quantifiable success in selling new products and early access solutions.
  • Coaching level knowledge of MEDDICC, Sandler, Challenger, or other sales methodologies.
  • Strong talent for driving consensus and support among internal and external stakeholders and champions.

Compensation

  • Compensation Range: $300,000 OTE uncapped
  • Our compensation package includes equity and benefits in addition to salary.
