Location: Manchester New Hampshire      $110,522 to $176,883 Yearly   SOB on case by case basis Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 3 years as Director of Surgical Services Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – REQUIRED

• Master's Degree – Preferred

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead and manage our surgical department. This role ensures patients receive safe, high-quality care while overseeing staffing, budgeting, and operations. You'll work closely with teams to create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

What You'll Do

Quality & Patient Care

• Make sure care is safe, evidence-based, and meets all quality standards

• Monitor and improve efficiency and patient outcomes

• Stay up-to-date on laws, regulations, and healthcare trends

• Develop and update policies and procedures

• Ensure smooth patient flow and proper care coordination

Leadership & Team Management

• Build a strong, engaged, and supportive team culture

• Assign the right staff based on skills and patient needs

• Lead the nursing and clinical teams in daily operations

Patient Experience

• Promote excellent service and patient satisfaction

• Use feedback to improve the patient experience

Budget & Financial Oversight

• Help plan and manage the department's budget

• Track spending and find ways to reduce costs

• Ensure resources (supplies, equipment, staff) are used wisely
