Simms Showers LLP Domestic & Associate Attorney Position
- Simms Showers LLP, a growing Northern Virginia and Maryland-based law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for our Domestic and Family Law practice area.

· Manage all aspects of domestic and family law cases, including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, negotiations, and litigation.
· Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
· Draft motions, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
· Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff.
· Contribute to firm growth through client relationship management and participation in community or professional outreach.
· Maintain compliance with ethical standards and firm policies.

Requirements:
· 3+ years of experience as a family law Attorney.
· VA Bar License
· Legal writing, analysis, and drafting skills
· Ability and willingness to travel to different courts in Northern Virginia
Preferred Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience as a family law Attorney.
· Jury trial and court experience
· Prior judicial clerkship experience
