About the Opportunity
The key element to this role is to provide an engaging experience for our residents. Responsible for safe transportation of residents to and from physician or other appointments. Plans drop off and pick up times to ensure timely service. Maintains the resident transport vehicles in a safe, clean condition.
Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00 DOE
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensures the CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times.
- Ensures compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies at all times.
- Drives residents to and from appointments according to the transportation schedule, using the designated community vehicle(s).
- Assists residents with entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary. Assists residents into and/or out of the destination when necessary.
- Ensures that any resident paperwork is dropped off at each physician’s office and returned to the nurse’s office upon the resident’s return.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Class B driver’s license within the state of California and no major traffic violations over the previous 5 years.
- Must be familiar with general locale and roads in the service area.
- CPR certification is desirable.
