Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), where you'll help individuals achieve their goals and thrive in their communities. DSP's provide personalized care, promote independence, and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication administration, transportation, and documentation of progress.

DSP Schedule, Location, Pay:

• Sunday 11am-7pm *Every other weekend
• Saturday 11am-7pm *Every other weekend
• Weekend rotation starting 10/4, 10/5

Location: St. Francis, MN

Rate of Pay: $23.00/hour

Requirements

What You Bring as a DSP: Only qualified applicants meeting the rate exception will be contacted for interview

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience working with individuals with Autism, PICA, and behavior de-escalation
• Driver's License, car insurance, reliable vehicle for work purposes
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company
• Ability to meet licensing requirements of the state and county
• Lifting/transferring requirements vary based on assigned caseload. Ability to lift 75 pounds and transfer individuals as needed
• May be exposed to animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, pet rodents, birds or pet reptiles
