We are seeking a Lead Art Director to join our creative team and help shape the next evolution of our brand’s visual identity. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled art director but is also a forward-thinking strategist. They are a gifted storyteller, with the ability to concept creative ideas with brand objectives and target consumers in mind. They have an appetite for learning and are comfortable working outside their comfort zone.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll lead and manage a small team of designers, mentoring and inspiring them to deliver great work.
  • You’re hands-on, collaborative, and understand that great execution is key.
  • You create. Constantly. Whether it’s a campaign, presentation, or visual story—you dive in and elevate the work.
  • You think strategically, using insights and business goals to inform every creative decision.
  • You’re fluent in visual language—from digital to print—and know how to communicate your ideas clearly, powerfully, and persuasively.
  • You work seamlessly with writers, producers, strategists, and clients—valuing people over job titles.
  • You work within timelines and budgets. Hitting the mark is your default.
  • You lead shoots with confidence and direct talent with precision and vision.
  • You know how to evaluate, collaborate with, and inspire photographers and illustrators to deliver top-tier work.
  • You stay close to production, upholding creative standards across every touchpoint.
  • You design with purpose—whether it’s a brand campaign or a strategic deck.
  • You present with polish and passion to both creative leadership and clients.
  • You are versatile in your aesthetic, capable of designing beyond your personal style.
  • You stay plugged into culture and trends, always thinking ahead and imagining what’s next.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–8 years of experience as an Art Director in a creative agency, in-house brand team, or tech-driven creative environment.
  • A robust portfolio that showcases standout work across channels and industries, ideally with regional or global recognition.
  • Strong visual storytelling abilities, paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, feedback-friendly mindset with an ability to pivot and refine ideas with clarity and speed.
  • Fluent in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and/or Premiere Pro would be a nice plus).
