AC Corporation, a Crete United Company, is actively hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our Raleigh, NC team. We provide multi-service building solutions including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low-voltage cabling, building automation, and access control. Key Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R equipment including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and split systems.
- Diagnose electrical, control, and mechanical issues and replace or repair components such as compressors, fans, pumps, and thermostats.
- Perform preventative maintenance and conduct detailed inspections on commercial HVAC systems.
- Document key metrics such as pressure, airflow, temperature, and humidity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain all required certifications.
- Accurately complete daily service reports and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Participate in rotating on-call duties and flexible shift work when needed.
Qualifications
- EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (required).
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working on commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, pneumatic/digital controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read schematics, follow instructions, and work independently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and elevated spaces year-round.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
- Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Climb ladders and work on rooftops and in confined spaces.
- Stoop, kneel, twist, and bend regularly.
- Operate in outdoor conditions year-round.
