Job Description
Ready to engineer your future in a place that values balance, flexibility, and technical excellence?
Old Republic Risk Management in Brookfield, WI is on the hunt for a Systems Engineer who's passionate about cutting-edge infrastructure, energized by solving complex challenges, and ready to join a company where culture, collaboration, and career growth take center stage. If you're a tech-savvy pro who thrives in a hybrid environment and enjoys the support of a tight-knit team, this Systems Engineer role could be exactly what you've been looking for.
As a Systems Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind designing, deploying, and maintaining our Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in a hybrid cloud and on-premises setup. You'll work with VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, and Microsoft 365-including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune-ensuring high availability and performance across all layers of our infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for managing Active Directory (both on-prem and Azure AD), leading our backup and disaster recovery strategy, and providing Tier 3 support when it matters most. You'll collaborate across departments, contribute to impactful infrastructure projects, and play a key role in maintaining secure, scalable, and modern systems.
This Systems Engineer position is based in Brookfield, WI and follows a hybrid schedule-after training, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home two days a week. Please note: This position is based in Brookfield, WI and is not offered as a remote role. Candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance to the Southeastern Wisconsin area or indicate on their resume a willingness to relocate upon hire. Relocation assistance is not provided by Old Republic. To thrive as a Systems Engineer at ORRM, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of hands-on experience in a systems engineering role. If you bring more senior-level expertise to the table, we're open to hiring at the Senior Systems Engineer level-because we believe in meeting top talent where they are and helping them go even further.
At Old Republic Risk Management, we've been helping Fortune 500 clients navigate complex risks since the 1950s-but we're not just proud of our legacy; we're proud of the culture we've built. Our values of excellence, integrity, and employee well-being shape everything we do. When you join us as a System Engineer, you're not just joining a team-you're joining a company that prioritizes your work-life balance, encourages growth, and respects your time.
