Lion Street, an Integrity partner, is a leading national financial services company owned by fiercely independent financial advisors who specialize in financial solutions for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, business owners, and corporate clients.
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas.
Primary Responsibilities:
In this position, the Accounting Manager will report directly to the Controller and will perform tasks which will include but are not limited to:
Training & supervising accounting staff
Overseeing AP and expense reporting processes
Maintaining financial workpapers and recording monthly journal entries
Performing monthly close including variance analysis and account reconciliations
Preparing monthly financial statements
Assisting Controller with budgeting, audits and other ad hoc projects
Primary Skills & Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred, but not required
Microsoft software experience: Advanced Excel skills
NetSuite experience a plus
Strong communication skills, detail orientated, and effective time management is needed to work collaboratively with key personnel.
Deadline-oriented with a high level of professionalism
