Armanino is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Tax Partner to lead and expand our Private Client Advisor practice in New York. This high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to drive growth in a critical market, working with high-net-worth individuals, families, and privately held business owners. You'll play a key role in business development, market presence, and brand visibility while delivering customized tax planning and advisory services. With a focus on both client excellence and team leadership, this position offers the chance to shape a growing practice and influence the firm's broader strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Relationship Management: Drive the business development efforts within the Private Client Advisor practice. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, while identifying opportunities to expand Armanino's footprint in the New York market. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
Leadership & Strategic Advisory: Lead and provide strategic tax advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, private business owners, and foundations. Offer sophisticated guidance in areas such as business succession, estate and gift planning, partnership tax, and international tax strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing innovative solutions for complex tax and financial matters.
Team Leadership & Development: Oversee, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of tax professionals. Ensure effective delegation, professional growth, and continuous learning within the team. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and forward-thinking work environment that supports both individual and firm-wide success.
Firmwide Strategy & Growth: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to execute the firm's strategic objectives. Contribute to the growth and positioning of the Private Client Advisor practice as a key pillar of the firm's overall service offerings. Lead initiatives that drive client acquisition and retention, elevate the firm's reputation, and contribute to its continued success.
Technical Excellence & Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of tax developments and regulatory changes, ensuring that the firm's tax services remain relevant and cutting-edge. Actively participate in industry forums, contribute to thought leadership, and ensure Armanino maintains its position as a trusted and innovative advisor.
