Job Description
We are looking for a Physician Extender to join our collaborative team at our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic! In this role as a Physician Extender, you will spend time triaging patients, completing prior authorizations, and utilizing Epic. This is a Monday-Friday Opportunity and would be scheduled to work between the hours of 8 am-5 pm Monday-Thursday and 7 am-1 pm on Friday and you will be paid and off for the 6 major holidays. The Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic is located at our City Gate location.
What You'll Do:
- In this role, a majority of your time will be spent in clinic assisting with patient care and triaging patients.
- Accompany patients to exam/procedure room; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc.
- Collecting & Document patient history in Epic
- Assist physicians with various procedures
What You'll Bring/Requirements:

Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the State of Ohio Occupational, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board.

An example of acceptable experience and qualifications: degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Physical Therapist Assistant or like allied health degree, from an accredited program and experience in a physician office preferred.
