Qualifications:
- Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active NY State Limited Permit (new graduates welcome).
- Experience: Open to new graduates; clinical rotations in geriatrics or internal medicine preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient assessments, diagnostics, treatment planning, and EHR documentation.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine patient check-ups and evaluate symptoms to diagnose conditions.
- Prescribe medications, order/interpret lab tests, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Develop personalized care plans, including preventive health guidance.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed and manage follow-up care.
- Attend training sessions to stay updated on medical best practices.
