Job Description
Position Summary: The Sports & Social Brand Promotions Manager is responsible for leading Sports & Social venue teams in planning and executing revenue-driving strategies that yield measurable improvements in venue sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with department heads including Director of Promotions, Managing Partner, Marketing & Operations to create strategies to drive revenue and ensure alignment.
- Lead and oversee the development and execution of all promotional programs, ensuring alignment with brand objectives, driving revenue, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Exercise independent discretion and judgment to drive revenue through:
- Data Collection
- SMS campaigns to book parties
- Celebration Parties
- Sports Watch Parties
- Premium reserved seating for less than 12 guests ("PRS")
- Other non-BEO social groups
- Outreach
- Negotiate promotional offerings for SMS booked parties, celebration parties, Sports Watch Parties, PRS, and other non-BEO social groups.
- Provide strategic insight and advice to the field teams on data collection initiatives.
- Lead and participate in Promotions meetings.
- Select and schedule hourly team members to work promotional hours, hosting guest check-ins, celebration parties, VIP tables, PRS, and other non-BEO social groups.
- Supervise, manage, and direct hourly team members when they are working promotional hours, hosting guest check-ins, celebration parties, VIP tables, PRS, and other non-BEO social groups.
- Host training sessions for venue hourly team members on data collection, building guest lists, and other promotional initiatives.
- Prepare weekly reports documenting performance in areas of responsibility summarized above.
- Travel to attend key events throughout the year and for quality assessment checks
- Ensure all promotions comply with the company's standards and policies in addition to jurisdiction-specific advertising rules
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a hospitality or sales, promotions or marketing setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be savvy in sales and promotional strategies
- Must be highly organized and reliable.
Position requires the ability to perform the following:
- Able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently, as well as strong attention to detail.
- Ability to travel to venues
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
