Job Description

Our practice is seeking a proactive and experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. As the Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring patients are presented treatment plans with expert explanations of their case.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and explain detailed treatment plans to patients in a clear and professional manner
  • Build trust and rapport with patients, addressing financial concerns and discussing payment options.
  • Coordinate scheduling of treatment in alignment with the clinical team's availability.
  • Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment, financial arrangements, and next steps.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient communications and accepted/declined treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the front desk, clinical, and insurance teams to ensure seamless patient experiences.
  • Support practice growth through case acceptance and patient satisfaction

Requirements

    • Minimum 7 years of dental treatment coordination experience (cosmetic or restorative dentistry preferred)
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with high-dollar treatment plans
    • Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance benefits
    • Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
    • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
  • Preferred:
    • Experience handling cases exceeding $7000
    • Sales or financial coordination background within dentistry
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
