Job Description
Sarasota Bay Club is a premier luxury independent living community dedicated to providing our residents with a safe, comfortable, and luxurious environment. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Security team member to join our team for the 12am-8am shift to ensure the security and well-being of our residents during the overnight hours. Interact with residents and guests in a friendly and respectful manner. Provide safety and security of individuals and property, prevention of safety hazards, and loss prevention control. Responsible for the strict control of property access, vehicle and truck traffic, material security and unauthorized visitors. Conduct regular perimeter safety rounds. When needed assist with hurricane preparedness and with weather, fire and elevator emergencies. Other duties as assigned.
A flexible schedule is required to accommodate over nights and week ends.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License with a safe driving record
- Security background a plus
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Effective under pressure, able to work with limited supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good telephone and customer service skills. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Knowledgeable about fire extinguishing procedures.
