Job Purpose:
The Post-Harvest Lead is integral to the successful operation of the cultivation facility as they carry out the manual tasks proscribed in these SOP’s to ensure the safe, efficient, and productive operation of the cultivation facility. The Post-Harvest lead assists the Post-Harvest Supervisor in monitoring and leading the team on individual tasks and projects.

The Post-Harvest Lead is integral to the successful operation of the cultivation facility as they carry out the manual tasks proscribed in these SOP’s to ensure the safe, efficient, and productive operation of the cultivation facility. The Post-Harvest lead assists the Post-Harvest Supervisor in monitoring and leading the team on individual tasks and projects.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Weighing and Packaging Cannabis into its final case for retail sales.
- Trimming Cannabis to quality standards.
- Labeling products with state compliant information.
- Daily production quotas must be adhered to, and schedule flexibility is a plus.
- Ability to tear down and assemble mechanical assemblies with ease.
- Assist in the operation and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure operational integrity.
- Set the pace on individual tasks, and assist team members in completing their duties to standard.
- Assist in the training of new employees on specific tasks and project.s
- Manage team members and help Supervisor with running the room, and leading the team on individual projects and tasks.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Excellent attention to numerical detail – batch numbers, tag numbers etc.
- Familiarity with Electrical Systems, Pneumatic Systems, and Mechanical Systems
- Ability to delegate tasks to team members and ensure proper execution.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially excel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (i.e., destemming, trimming, packaging, both sitting & standing)
- Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions (bright lights, mechanical operations that require ear protection, hazardous environments requiring respirator usage etc.)
- Physical requirements include standing, bending and lifting up to 30+ pounds, climbing and working above shoulder height for extended periods, reaching while standing, sliding under machinery on creepers to perform maintenance, and pushing carts and wheelbarrows.
- Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays
- $20.00+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
