Job Description

Vermont State University is seeking a part-time faculty member for Social Work who will develop and teach a new social work course- "Spanish in the Human Services".

This course will meet in the evenings to support the needs of non-traditional students.

Job Responsibilities are the following:

  • Work with program director to develop the syllabus
  • Teach course in-person weekly on the Castleton campus
  • Available to meet with students outside of class time as needed
  • Use CANVAS to communicate with students, post assignments, grades, supplemental materials

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Masters in related field
  • Experience with teaching/presenting
  • The successful candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Spanish  
  • Sufficient computer literacy to use course management software, email,
    wtc.
