Job Description
Acadian Asset Management LLC is a Boston-headquartered investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore, London, and Sydney. As of March 31, 2025, the firm managed approximately US$121 billion on behalf of major pension funds, endowments, foundations, governments and other investors based in the U.S. and abroad.
Position Overview:
The Compliance Specialist will, along with other members of the global compliance team, support the firm's Chief Compliance Officer in developing, implementing, testing, and enforcing Acadian's Compliance Program. Acadian is an investment adviser regulated by many regulators including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and National Futures Association (NFA). This is an entry-level position for a recent college graduate or recent financial services industry joiner interested in a compliance career in the financial services industry.
Acadian supports a hybrid work environment, employees are on-site in the Boston office 3 days a week.
What You'll Do:
- Review and approve personal trading and other required reporting under the firm's Code of Ethics
- Review clients and prospects for Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance
- Prepare compliance specific reporting for clients as needed
- Assist with the preparation and filing of required regulatory reporting
- Assist with the review of client mandates to ensure compliance with contractual, firm, and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve marketing and advertising materials, including, but not limited to, prospect books, fact sheets, RFPs and due diligence questionnaires, to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Advisers Act, NFA/CFTC, FINRA and other global regulatory requirements as applicable
We're Looking for Teammates With:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in business or related field
- 0-2 years of previous work or internship experience in the financial services industry
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail; Proven ability to handle simultaneous multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines with limited oversight and support
- Team orientation and willingness to engage in tasks of all sizes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and tasks quickly
