About the role
The HR Business Partner (HRBP), HR Manager acts as a consultative and strategic business partner to their designated Functional Department leaders that drives talent and business outcomes. The HRBP works proactively with leaders to understand business growth objectives and to deliver people-centric initiatives that ensure the function is both prepared and positioned to deliver the objectives through the employees.
What you’ll do
- Works with department leaders on the Senior Leadership team to understand their unique people needs and challenges of their function. Designs a comprehensive talent strategy with department leaders which includes succession planning, retention and inclusion to ensure successful execution of goals aligned with the company talent strategy. Collaborates with leadership on effectiveness strategies that create a robust, measurable, and scalable approach to growing and engaging our people. Leads the talent review process and calibrations for designated departments.
- Builds capabilities of leaders regarding all facets of talent management. Coaches and advises where appropriate to support growth and development in alignment with business and personal goals. Acts as a trusted advisor who leads with integrity, trust, respect, and high personal standards and works to build personal credibility and influence through collaboration. Serves as a steward of the servant leadership culture. Helps engage and retain top talent through the promotion of our core values and leadership competencies. Ensures that leaders understand our culture, enhance it and live it.
- Champions or co-leads internal projects around business process improvement, organizational design, job design/re-design, career development and employee engagement. Collaborates with the learning and development, DEI, compensation, wellbeing and talent acquisition departments to achieve common goals and support leaders. Serves as a change champion in support of talent initiatives and develops communication cascades for relevant changes.

What you’ll bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years' broad human resources experience with the ability to make complex talent decisions
- HR experience supporting a healthcare company is a plus
- Ability to effectively work with ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to encourage innovation and influence leadership
- Highly collaborative style, willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teams, proven relationship-building skills
- Sound judgment and discretion, able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Strong problem-solving skills, good attention to detail
- High degree of proven professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
