Outside Sales Representative

Hood Distribution is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber & plywood as well as related specialty wood products whose customers include cabinet shops, furniture manufacturers, millwork houses and other related businesses.

Hood Distribution is looking for an Outsides Sales Representative for its Pittsburgh, PA location. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated individual with an interest in the specialty-building products industry to call on Cabinet Makers and Millwork Shops.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and maintain business relationships with current accounts and establish new accounts.
• Meet customer needs by providing needed products and establishing high quality and customer responsiveness expectations.
• Meets or exceeds sales forecasts for the assigned region while ensuring appropriate profit margins are maintained.
• Maintaining knowledge on current marketplace product information.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
• Works closely with sales manager to help drive business.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
