Job Description

Role Overview

Dartcor Food Services and Chelsea Hospitality Group — two industry leaders in hospitality-driven workplace dining, catering, and Restaurant/Bar segments — are seeking a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to lead sourcing and logistics strategy across our growing enterprise. This role blends culinary passion with operational precision, managing procurement, inventory, and distribution across Fortune 100 corporate cafés, artisanal catering, a commissary kitchen and luxury hospitality venues.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role with direct impact on how we source, deliver, and serve — from handcrafted workplace meals to premium executive dining experiences.

What You’ll Do:

Procurement Strategy & Vendor Management

  • Design and lead procurement strategy for all categories: food, beverage, disposables, equipment, cleaning supplies, and more.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships — from broadline distributors to specialty purveyors — aligned with our culinary and sustainability standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to balance cost efficiency with quality, consistency, and long-term value.

Supply Chain Operations & Logistics

  • Evaluate carriers and optimize transportation and delivery routes.
  • Minimize waste and ensure supply readiness for seasonal menus, new cafés, catering rollouts, and executive hospitality.

Quality, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure all products meet food safety, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Implement vendor audits, risk mitigation plans, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, availability, and pricing shifts.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing team across procurement and supply chain functions.
  • Partner with Culinary, Commissary, Café, Catering, Finance, and HR to align sourcing with execution.
  • Support client onboarding and operational launches with supply chain excellence.

Analytics & Technology

  • Leverage ERP/MRP systems and tools like Ottomate (formerly PlateIQ), Toast, R365, or Meez for tracking KPIs and procurement analytics.
  • Monitor spend, cost savings, order accuracy, and inventory turnover.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine strategy and performance.

Requirements

What We Need From You:

  • 5–10 years of leadership in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within the food & beverage, hospitality, or corporate dining sectors.
  • Strong experience with vendor negotiations, supply chain design, and cost management.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, inventory tools, and logistics operations.
  • Analytical, hands-on, and strategic — able to operate across levels and teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related; advanced degree or certification (CPSM, CSCP) preferred.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator; thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Located within commuting distance to Whippany, NJ and able to work onsite 4–5 days per week.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S

Benefits

What You’ll Get From Us:

  • Opportunity to shape and scale a procurement function across a dynamic, family-run business.
  • Hands-on leadership with strategic impact—drive supply chain excellence and innovation.
