Traveling Dental Assistant

Location: Raymore, MO & Kansas City, MO

Travel Required: Weekly travel between both clinic locations

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Traveling Dental Assistant to support our clinics in Raymore and Kansas City, MO. This role is vital in delivering superior care and service to our patients and providing exceptional support to our dental providers. You'll serve as a model of respect, professionalism, and empathy for both patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clearly and calmly communicate treatment plans to patients and parents, ensuring understanding and consent.

  • Identify prior authorization needs and obtain all required consent forms in a timely manner.

  • Maintain a high standard of patient care, comfort, and safety at all times.

  • Accurately document all treatment provided using both electronic and paper dental records.

  • Travel weekly between Raymore and Kansas City clinics to support clinical operations and team needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dental Assistant Permit - preferred, not required

  • CPR Certification - preferred

  • Expanded Function Permit - preferred

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in dental assisting preferred
