Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Include but are not limited to the following:
Electrical
- Ability to thread/install conduit and pull wire throughout the facility
- Read and understand electrical drawings
- Uses fluke electrical meters to test fuses, voltage, and motor windings
- Ability to troubleshoot and wire/unwire 3-phase electrical motors
Maintenance & Repairs
- Repairs and lubricates equipment.
- Ensures that work area, equipment, and vehicles are all neat, clean, and well maintained.
Other
- May work extended hours as requested by supervisor to meet project deadlines
- Uses all tools, equipment, and vehicles carefully and for their intended use.

- Performs work in a safe manner at all times and uses the appropriate PPE.
- Checks the work area for hazards and corrects/reports unsafe conditions.
- Considers the safety of oneself, and other employees, and customers.
- Follows all safety protocols and seeks advice from supervisor when uncertain.

- Maintains open communication and cooperates with supervisor, departments, and fellow employees.
- Communicates with supervisor and others immediately when unexpected problems cause absence, lateness, or the need to leave early.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Electrical background is preferred
- Must be licensed and insurable to drive as there may be travel between locations
- One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a good electrical/mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in all types of environments, including but not limited to elevated areas (heights), dusty conditions, various weather conditions (hot to cold).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.
